Waterdrop display
The day has finally come: according to Honor, Honor will launch two products, 8X & 8xmax, which are different from 7X ,the bigger one will support 7.12-inch full-HD+ (1080x2244 pixels) TFT display with an 18.7:9 aspect ratio,Screen To Body Ratio may up to 90%. This will be the time ever that Honor has strategically positioned this generation of X-Series products, and has therefore placed many configurations that should not appear on this product on this generation.Which is pretty anticipating.

Bigger Battery?
We learned few days ago that Honor 8X will be powering the phablet will be a 4,900mAh battery. That's somewhat lower than the 6.9" Xiaomi Mi Max 3's, which packs in a 5,500mAh battery, but battery life is always about more than sheer capacity.

Data speeds
It is also heard from weibo, the chipset must be kirin 710 instead of snap dragon 660, as they annonced that honor 8X will also support GPU turbo which is exclusive to kirin chipset

As EMUI9.0 will first launch on Mate20, rumors say that honor 8X will support EMUI8.2 based on Android v8.1.
