Peak Nintendo Switch has passed.
Sales of Nintendo’s hybrid console were down 22.1 percent in the year ended March 31st. The company expects a further 16.5 percent drop this year to just 15 million consoles, suggesting the Switch has truly entered its twilight years six years after release.
Bloomberg reports that Nintendo’s forecast doesn’t include any new or upgraded hardware, with analysts not expecting a Switch successor in the next 12 months.
