The Epic 4G is just past its first birthday, having hit Sprint's network in August of last year, and it looks like the landscape QWERTY's spiritual successor has found its way to AT&T as the second member of the carrier's Captivate family. The Android 2.3-powered Captivate Glide (aka SGH-i927). The landscape slider features a 4-inch, 480 x 800-pixel Super AMOLED screen, a dual-core 1GHz Tegra 2 AP20H processor, 1GB RAM, a pair of cameras (1.3 megapixels in the front, 8 megapixels with 1080p HD video recording in the back), and AT&T's "4G" equivalent, HSPA+ Category 14 (21Mbps).
The Captivate Glide is part of AT&T's 2011 lineup, which gives it an approximate release date of... sometime before December 31st. We doubt anyone will be waiting that long — especially since it looks to have passed through the FCC sometime in mid-August.
