What's the easiest and most efficient way to make your gadget appeal to women? According to Samsung, make it pink. All women love pink, right? The company has released a variant Galaxy S II in South Korea in just that color in order to appeal to a female demographic, attempting to spur sales on the six-month old device. Rather than make any substantive changes or updates to the device (like, say, adding a glowing dongle) to capture women's interest, Samsung's simply thrown on a new coat of paint. To the company's credit, at least it's a relatively understated coral pink, rather than a shocking neon hue. We don't know if this variant will hit Western shores, but we'll let you know if you if it does.
