After several weeks of speculation, it appears that RIM and Porsche Design have indeed partnered to deliver a Porsche-inspired BlackBerry smartphone, which should be unveiled in Dubai on October 27, according to invitations sent to the press. While RIM has yet to confirm what is being announced, we may finally learn whether the photos leaked on Chinese site MaxPDA (shown above) are in fact the fruits of RIM and Porsche's collaboration.
If the above photo is accurate, this new BlackBerry will carry the hallmark angular design and signature Porsche typeface commonly found on other Porsche Design products. We'll find out what RIM and Porsche have come up with on October 27.
