CES is finally here, and it promises to have a ton of awe-inspiring technology; the latest in transportation innovations; and, of course, the weird, unnecessary gadgets that nobody asked for. And The Verge is going to be in the heart of it all in Las Vegas! This is our sixth CES and it’s going to be our biggest and best ever. If you don’t believe me, just look at Dieter and Nilay’s glowing faces on the 250-foot Aria billboard for proof! We’ve gathered our most intrepid reporters to bring the CES experience to you, in more ways than one. Let us count the ways:
VERGECAST LIVE ON TWITTER
On January 4th, 5th, and 6th at 4:30PM PT / 7:30PM ET, head to ces.twitter.com to watch the return of the hype desk, live! We’ll have interviews with power players, field reports from the show floor, polls pitting gadgets face-to-face, and live on-air answers to questions you tweet us.
If you prefer not to look at our faces but still want to keep up with a real-time stream of tweets from all of our reporters on the ground in Las Vegas, just look to this handy timeline.
Our very own influencer Casey Newton will be roaming around the CES showfloor on Periscope in dazzling 360 video!*
*Wi-Fi conditions pending. If not, regular 2D Periscope will be just as dazzling, we promise!
UNFILTERED CES LIVE BLOG
Wanna watch the inner workings of the Verge team communicating their CES shock, awe, or desert dehydration in real time via Slack? Starting tonight, scroll through our continuous CES live blog, where we’ll be sharing things we see, feel, and smell! There will be lots of smells, probably.

Circuit Breaker, The World’s Best Gadget Blog™️, was made for CES, and it’s going to be the best source to find the latest CES news. Starting today, you can chat with our Circuit Breaker Gadget Bot in Facebook Messenger to have the latest CES gadgets sent straight to your face! Just type, “Show me a gadget” and you’ll receive a reply in the form of a random gadget post. You can also ask for something more specific, like headphones or a car or “open the pod bay doors.”
SNAPCHAT AND INSTAGRAM
We’ve got our hands on a pair of Snapchat Spectacles, which means if you follow us on Snapchat, you can watch us walk through the CES show floor in circular video. We’ll also be posting original photography and sharing our best finds on Instagram.
