Bowers & Wilkins announced its latest headphones, the P9 Signature, will retail for a staggering $900 when they are released later this month. The headphones are undoubtedly luxurious and will please every audiophile with 40mm proprietary piston diaphragm speaker drivers for better sound reproduction, angled transducers, foldable arms made from forged aluminum for improved headband strength, and vented multi-layer memory foam wrapped in Italian saffiano leather on the rather large earcups.
B&W will even throw in a free Lightning cable for iPhone 7 users who register their headphones on the company's website. The company says the cable won't be available until next year, so there will be a bit of a gap where you'll have to use Apple's 3.5mm to Lightning adapter. The also come with a protective carrying case, so you don't scuff up your nearly $1,000 headphones during your travels.
If you have the disposable income, you can preorder the B&W P9 Signature headphones from Amazon today. The headphones will officially go on sale on October 17th.
