Propel's Star Wars battle quads

My dear colleague James Vincent checked out Star Wars drones in the UK earlier this year. At the time, they weren’t available in the US. Things were bleak on the Star Wars drone front. In a minor holiday miracle, though, the cogs of consumerism have started turning again and the Star Wars drones will be available for preorder at some point before the holidays, although we don’t know when, through Brookstone and other retailers. As a reminder, these drones are more detailed than previous Star Wars drone attempts and rely on swappable, rechargeable lithium-ion battery packs. Brookstone will only carry the Tie Advanced X1 Starfighter, 74-Z Speeder Bike, and T-65 X-Wing Starfighter drone models, but they’ll be available in physical retail stores and online. We don’t yet have pricing information. Alright, good luck out there; try not to terrorize your family too much.

Update 2:12 PM ET: Updated to reflect that the presumed preorder date of November 22nd is no longer accurate.
