After announcing the mid-range 5C last week, Huawei subsidiary Honor is back with a high-end device called the V8. The V8 runs Android 6.0 with EMUI 4.1, features a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, an octa-core Kirin 950 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage (there is also a 32GB version which comes with a 1080p display). Here are a few other interesting specs:

  • 12MP dual rear cameras with laser autofocus
  • 8MP front-facing camera
  • Fingerprint recognition
  • Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and USB-C port

Dual cameras are the future for cameras in smartphones, and Honor is mirroring the camera setup on the Huawei P9, which is good for anyone looking for the latest tech in a cheaper device. The Honor V8 is available in platinum gold, rose gold, champagne gold, and glacier silver. If you live in China (or know someone who will ship it to you) you can purchase Honor V8 today, starting at $352 for the 32GB version or $429 for the 64GB variation on JD.com.
