Fitbit confirmed during an earnings call earlier this month that it would be releasing two new products this year. In April, we speculated that the company might release a Flex 2 and Charge 2, going off trademark filings. Now, we’ve come full circle with TechnoBuffalo publishing supposed images of those two updated wearables.
The image of the Fitbit Charge 2 shows a much larger display, PurePulse heart rate tracking, and interchangeable bands. All of these features were not included on the original Charge, which was released in 2014.
The Flex 2 is listed at swim-proof in this image, which is a change. The initial version is only sweat, rain, and splash-proof. The company also seems to have changed the orientation of its indicator lights. There’s still no display, though.
Here are some more images for your enjoyment. Now get to thinking about your wearable of choice because you've got a whole lot of options that'll only keep growing.
