Huawei's 6.6-inch Honor Note 8 will eventually make it to the US

Huawei plans to release its Honor Note 8 phone in China this month. Another new midrange Android phone, we know. But the Note 8 is different in a couple ways. Mainly, it has a 6.6-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a decently sized 4,500 mAh battery. Also, it’s coming to the US. Eventually. Here’s the rest of the specs:

  • Kirin 955 octacore processor
  • 4GB of RAM
  • Up to 128GB expandable storage
  • 8-megapixel front-facing camera, 13-megapixel rear-facing camera
  • Fingerprint scanner

The 128GB version costs $422 in China. The company reportedly confirmed that it is bringing the device to the US but has yet to release price or availability details.
