JBL announced in April that it would be releasing a pair of USB-C-powered earbuds this year in coordination with the release of the HTC 10. At the time, we didn’t have a price or specific release date. Well now the day has come. The Reflect Aware C are out on HTC’s website, and they’re expensive! The $199 earbuds have an adjustable noise-canceling feature as well as an in-line remote with volume control and a microphone. They also come in black and white.

This is only the start of what will likely be a year of many headphone announcements. With rumors of Apple nixing the headphone jack on the iPhone 7, we’re expecting to see a lot more Bluetooth earbuds and Lightning headphones. There’s also USB-C for everything else, so those earbuds will be slowly coming out, too. Buckle in; it’s going to be a fun headphone ride in 2016.
