Kindle Paperwhite 2015

Amazon’s first Kindle e-reader was released 10 years ago this year, and while the actual anniversary isn’t for another month (the first device was released on November 19th) Amazon is marking the occasion by discounting several of its current Kindle devices by $30.

The deal applies to the Kindle, Kindle Paperwhite, and Kindle Voyage, with discounts as follows:

Excluded from the sale (unsurprisingly) is the recently updated Kindle Oasis, which will still cost $249.99 when it comes out on October 31st.

Amazon is offering discounts on a variety of Kindle ebooks as well, taking up to 80 percent off “top-selling books.” The company is also offering a free $5 credit toward any Kindle ebook to “select customers,” which you can access through this link, although it’ll only work if Amazon has marked your account as one of the chosen few.

The Kindle deals will be available from October 23rd through the 25th.
