Asus has revealed its new line of laptops that feature 8th-generation Intel core processors. They include laptops from the ZenBook and VivoBook lines, complete with the latest quad-core processors that double the amount of cores from the previous models. Asus claims a 40 percent increase in performance, while keeping energy consumption the same.

The new laptops are:

ZenBook 3 Deluxe UX 490

The ZenBook 3 Deluxe is a 14-inch full HD laptop that’s pretty small — it’s 12.9 mm thin and weighs 2.43 pounds. It features the 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage. Intel says its one of the first ultra slim laptops to feature a quad-core CPU. The laptop also has two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 support (for 40Gbps data transfers). The Asus ZenBook 3 Deluxe is $1,699 and available now at the Asus Store, and retailers including AmazonB&H, and Newegg.

ZenBook Flip S UX370

The ZenBook Flip S is 10.9mm thin and weighs 2.43 pounds, making it pretty portable. It features an 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage. The 13.3-inch HD screen has Asus Pen support and the laptop also has two USB-C ports and a new 360 degree ErgoLift hinge, which can hold the display securely at any angle. There’s also a fingerprint scanner on the side of the laptop. The Asus ZenBook Flip S will be available at the Microsoft Store, but there’s no release date or price yet.

ZenBook UX330

The ZenBook UX330 is made from solid aluminum, and features an 8th generation Intel Core i5 processor. It’s 13.5mm thin, but it’s still 15 percent thinner than its predecessor, Asus says. The laptop has a 13.3-inch full HD display, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of SSD storage, and a fingerprint reader. Asus says its battery life lasts up to 12 hours. It’s available now for $749 from Amazon.

The ZenBook UX430’s main selling point is its screen, which is a 14-inch full HD display with an 80 percent screen-to-body ratio. It’s 15.9mm thin and weighs 2.9 pounds. It features an 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, 512GB SSD, and a built-in fingerprint sensor. The bezels are 8.1mm, giving the display a 79.4 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The screen also supports the Asus Pen.
