Netgear is adding a smart security light to its Arlo home security lineup: the Arlo Outdoor Smart Home Security Light. Like all of Arlo’s outdoor products, the security light is weather resistant and works wirelessly, thanks to a rechargeable battery.

The Arlo Outdoor Smart Home Security Light comes with motion detection, which can also activate your Arlo cameras, and you can change the sensitivity of the detection to fit your security needs. You can also tweak the color of the light, changing the temperature from warm or cool, and you can even make it flash red to ward off potential intruders.

The camera can be controlled through the Arlo app, Alexa, and IFTTT. Arlo’s $79 solar panel will also be an option for the light, which should keep you from having to recharge the batteries. Arlo’s Outdoor Smart Home Security Light will be available in the first half of 2018. The company has not released pricing as of yet.
