Samsung appears to be readying a new Windows 10 tablet. While recent leaks have suggested we’ll see a successor to the Windows-powered Galaxy TabPro, Samsung released a “Book Settings” app in the Windows Store at the weekend which includes references to a separate unannounced Samsung Galaxy Book. The app is designed to provide additional settings for a stylus, the AMOLED display, the ability to add a pattern unlock (like Android), and a battery life extender.

MSPoweruser spotted the Windows 10 app, and notes that Samsung also holds a 2012 trademark for Galaxy Book that covers smartphones and tablets. The presence of a stylus and the book branding could indicate this particular Windows 10 device is more of a regular tablet than the company’s Surface-like TabPro convertible. Samsung is holding a press event at Mobile World Congress next Sunday, and we’re expecting to hear more about the company’s Galaxy plans for 2017.
