Owners of Huawei’s original watch can now update their device to run Android Wear 2.0. The update is being rolled out to both the developer preview and the stable channel of the two-year-old smartwatch, according to Reddit reports and AndroidCentral. The update should be available through the watch’s settings, but if it’s not, the watch can be manually flashed.
Android Wear 2.0 optimizes the OS for a circular display with the ability to type directly on a built-in keyboard and to use third-party watch faces. The Huawei Watch 2, which was released in April, launched with Android Wear 2.0 already installed.
