Satechi

Satechi just released a new USB-C to HDMI cable that works with 4K displays. It supports a 60hz refresh rate. So while the MacBook’s display is nice and all (really, I do love it), this cable is designed to let you watch 4K videos on your TV or whatever other, larger display you have. Other cables already exist that do this same exact thing, but I always enjoy looking at a new cable, especially when it comes in a rose gold option. Maybe that’s strange. There’s something calming to me about cables; I think it’s the idea of sharing content across screens. I don’t know.

Anyway! Satechi is releasing a USB-C to HDMI cable that’s six feet long, as well as a smaller adapter to toss in your bag. The cable costs $39.99 and is available through Satechi’s website, although it seems to have trouble loading. Amazon also sells it. The adapter costs $34.99 and is available from Satechi or Amazon, as well. It comes in four colors: gray, silver, gold, or rose gold. The cable is only available in silver or gray. It’ll be for sale in gold and rose gold later this year.
