At CE Week 2017, Jabra debuted the next iteration of its Elite Sport earbuds. Launched last year, the Elite Sport are Jabra’s first truly wireless earbuds, and they now come with a few upgrades — most notably in battery life.

The new Jabra Elite Sport earbuds have packed in 50 percent more power than their predecessor without increasing the weight or depth of the earbud. They now can deliver 4.5 hours of play on a single charge; with use of the portable charging case, a have a total of 13.5 hours of battery life. Battery life is a key focus with wireless earbuds. Comparable earbuds, like Motorola’s VerveOne, and the Bragi Dash, already offer similar or longer battery life than the upgraded Elite Sport, at 12 hours and 20 hours total, respectively.

The only new features are equalizer profiles that allow users to personalize how they listen to music, and a new color option in green and gray.

The new Elite Sport earbuds still have all the features of the previous version, including audio passthrough, water resistance up to three feet for 30 minutes, a heart rate monitor, and personalized audio coaching for workouts. There are also multiple microphones in the earbuds to pick up your voice and to determine which background sounds to filter out. You can also pick up incoming phone calls with a voice command.

The earbuds connect with their integrated app, Jabra Sport Life, which does everything from count reps on-screen by tracking your movement via sensors in the earbuds, to delivering metrics on how effective your workout was.

The Jabra Elite Sport earbuds are available on Jabra’s website for $249.99.
