You’ll have to verify that you’re actually a student to receive the coupon code, but it seems like that’s really all there is to it. Once that step’s done, you can save a bit of money and get yourself a device that very few people on campus will have.

But it’s worth giving some thought to whether the OnePlus 5 is right for you — even marked down. Earlier this month, the company released a new update for the phone that added (electronic) video stabilization to 4K recordings. So OnePlus is at least working to address some of the shortcomings that the 5 shipped with.

Also, the 10 percent comes off your entire order from the OnePlus web store, so it’s up to you whether to just get a phone by itself or add on some accessories. If you’ve already got a OnePlus handset, I guess you could also use it to save on a spare Dash charger or some cases.
