Diesel is a watch sub-brand of Fossil that is perhaps best known for making large watches. It was no surprise, then, when Diesel launched its first Wear OS (then Android Wear) watch last year called On Full Guard. It was one of the largest smartwatches around, measuring in with a 48mm case.

While other watch companies may have taken the year-long gap between products to try and shrink that down a bit, Diesel has made the less popular but somehow equally unsurprising decision to make a follow-up, the Diesel Full Guard 2.5, which is even bigger (via Gizmodo).

The 2.5 in the name is for the screen size

With its 56mm case and full 1.39-inch display, the Diesel Full Guard 2.5 is the biggest smartwatch on the market. It runs Google’s Wear OS, with NFC for Google Pay, and it has a heart rate sensor and integrated GPS for fitness tracking. Diesel claims that you’ll be able to get up to two days of battery life from the Full Guard 2.5. That would normally be a lot for a smartwatch, if not for the fact that the Full Guard 2.5 is so absurdly large that it’ll have plenty of room for a nice, hefty battery.

Diesel will sell the Full Guard 2.5 in three versions: a gray case with a brown strap, a black case with a gray strap, and a black case with a black strap. It’ll go on sale sometime in October, although no price has been announced yet.

Correction August 29th, 4:17pm: The Full Guard 2.5 has a 1.39-inch display, not a 2.5-inch screen as originally reported.
