The GameCube controller nostalgia is real, and the tiny Switch controllers just aren’t going to cut it when Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is released on December 7th. Nintendo Europe announced today that it’s releasing a limited edition box that contains a copy of the game, a Super Smash Bros. edition GameCube controller, and an adapter to coincide with the release. Pricing hasn’t yet been announced, and we don’t know if it’ll be available outside of Europe yet.

The downside of this limited edition box is that it only comes with one controller. If you want to even the playing field, you’ll have to dig out your old GameCube controllers from storage. At least Nintendo confirmed that it’ll be Switch-compatible via USB adapters. Nintendo also announced at E3 that it will sell a Smash Bros.-edition GameCube controller separately, which is currently available for pre-order on Amazon for $30. You can always look into third-party controllers like Hori’s Switch-enhanced GameCube controllers, which come in three different variations of Zelda, Mario, and Pikachu color schemes.
