One of the most beloved supporting characters in Breaking Bad — aside from attorney Saul Goodman — was Mike Ehrmantraut, and it looks like the cleaner and "security expert" will be joining the cast of the show's upcoming spin-off. Deadline reports that Jonathan Banks, who joined Breaking Bad at the end of its second season, has signed on to reprise his role in Better Call Saul. The upcoming prequel, scheduled to debut on AMC this November, will focus on the life of attorney Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) well before he crossed paths with Walter White.

It's not clear what other Bad cast members will appear in the new show, though series mastermind Vince Gilligan has been floating the idea of Mike being a central character since last year. Both Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul have also expressed interest in appearing in the program, though given its nature as a prequel audiences would likely see a very different Walter White and Jesse Pinkman than the one they remember from the Breaking Bad series finale.
