Square Enix has been putting games like Final Fantasy on cellphones for years, and now it's going one step further with an Android marketplace for Japan. Smartphone users will soon be able to relive the glorious days of Dragon Quest, Crystal Defenders, and a port of the iOS remake of Final Fantasy — games like Chrono Trigger and Itadaki Street will come later. Initially the service will be exclusive to KDDI customers, but DoCoMo and Softbank will join soon after. Pricing is still unknown, but the end of productivity in Japan begins on December 1st.
