Phil Fish is, to put it lightly, a controversial figure in the gaming community. At first celebrated for his 2012 game Fez — and for his dynamic appearance in the documentary Indie Game: The Movie — Fish later endured criticism for blow-ups on social media, which may have contributed to the cancellation of the hotly anticipated Fez II. (Even as recently as this morning, Fish's tweets were being scrutinized, and it appears he deleted his account afterward.)
