This week gave us a healthier variety of deals than usual. Whether you’re interested in a new smartphone, gaming consoles, smart speakers, or smart displays, there’s a lot to parse through, and that trend is going to continue through early 2019.
The Google Pixel 3 can now be preordered, and there are a few special offers for those who buy in early. Both Verizon and Google’s Project Fi are offering buy-one-get-one promotions for the new phone, though each have different terms. Verizon’s BOGO deal is limited to the 64GB Pixel 3, and works for both new and current subscribers. If you purchase the Pixel 3 at Best Buy, you can get a $100 gift card with purchase. The promo at Project Fi, on the other hand, is only valid if you’re adding someone new to your plan.
All eyes are on the Pixel 3, but the Pixel 2 XL is becoming a good deal if you don’t mind settling for last year’s tech. At Best Buy, paying through Verizon’s payment program reduces the cost by almost $300, down to roughly $22 per month for 24 months. After activation, you’ll have only paid $599. This deal ends later on Saturday, October 13th.
Google maintained a presence in the news this week, for better and worse, and one of the more impressive products shown off at last Tuesday’s hardware event is the Google Home Hub. While pretty affordable at $149, you can knock $50 off of that price by making a smart home bundle at Best Buy.
Microsoft and Amazon teamed up to bring Alexa skills to the Xbox One. To celebrate the collaboration, Amazon is including the new Echo Dot with the purchase of an Xbox One S or Xbox One X console while supplies last.
If you’re more of a PC gamer, Newegg is offering a small, but welcomed price drop on select graphics cards. You’ll find a mix of Nvidia GTX 10-series and AMD Radeon RX 500-series GPUs on sale, which cost 10 percent less with the offer code EMCEPER22.
