If you’ve bought a new phone in the past year, it most likely has wireless charging capability. Most new Android phones have had wireless charging capabilities for a few years now, and Apple got into the game last year with the iPhone 8 and iPhone X. Using a Qi charging pad is a tiny change that only saves you a few seconds a day, but those seconds add up. Plus, if your phone doesn’t have a headphone jack and you haven’t invested in Bluetooth headphones, you can still listen to music while charging your phone (without having to use a dongle).
Last year, The Verge rounded up our favorite Qi chargers and landed on the RavPower Fast Charge Wireless Charging Pad as the best wireless charger on the market. RavPower edged out other brands like Anker and Samsung because of its quick charge capabilities, slick design, and included 24W power brick.
When the RavPower Fast Charge was released, it cost $49.99. It’s pricier than most wireless chargers, but that 24W power brick, a necessity for quick charging, would set you back another $15 or so if you bought it separately. The RavPower Fast Charge is currently on Amazon for $44.49, but Verge readers can get it for $29.99 with code 34CHARGE.
This deal runs through 11:59PM PT on March 5th.
