The doorbuster sale on Dell’s 27-inch G-Sync gaming monitor is over. Dell halved the cost of its 27-inch S2716DG G-Sync monitor from $700 down to $399, though stock has now depleted. If you were one of the lucky ones who snagged a discounted monitor, the company also threw in a $100 gift card with purchase.

It’s not hard to find a G-Sync monitor at this price point, though this Dell monitor outperforms much of what you’ll find if this is your budget cap (in more ways than just its size.) This model offers QHD resolution (2560 x 1440), 144Hz refresh rate, and 1ms response time, all packed into a bezel-reduced design that will complement practically any desk setup. It supports both HDMI and DisplayPort, which is ideal if you want to link up your PC and, say, a PS4 Pro or Xbox One X.

If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to invest in a high-end Nvidia G-Sync monitor, there will likely be more opportunities in the near future.

Update July 10th 3:48PM ET: Stock has depleted of Dell’s discounted 27-inch G-Sync monitor. We’ll keep an eye on the sale page to see if it returns at the sale price, but this deal’s most likely over.
