Despite the rapid growth of iPhone and Android sales in Japan, flip phones still greatly outpace smartphones (still under 10 percent market share, last time we checked), so manufacturers are going to keep churning out clamshells. To that end, Fujitsu has introduced a new flip phone called the au F001. Aside from being water- and dust-resistant, the phone features a 13.1-megapixel camera and email capabilities. While none of these specs are groundbreaking — especially in Japan — the company is touting the camera's quick load time and image processing engine, as well as a feature that takes multiple shots with one click and automatically selects the best one.
The F001 will be available on KDDI and Okinawa Cellular starting November 9th.
