If you're a fan of limited edition colors and you've got a collection of Pentax K mount lenses, you'll be glad to hear that the company plans to release an exclusive silver version of its water-resistant, prosumer K-5 camera. The kit — which is limited to 1,500 units — will cost you $1,599.95 when it comes out in April at either Pentax's online store or Ace Photo. That's a $400 premium over the plain old black version of the camera, but the kit does come with a super-slim 40mm f/2.8 pancake lens (just like the brand new K-01) that'll sport that same silver color as the body. This isn't the first time Pentax has offered a silver version of this camera, but last time it cost $100 more and it didn't include the lens. If you're intrigued by the limited nature of the silver edition, be sure to check out our product database for all the specs.
