If you're a fan of limited edition colors and you've got a collection of Pentax K mount lenses, you'll be glad to hear that the company plans to release an exclusive silver version of its water-resistant, prosumer K-5 camera. The kit — which is limited to 1,500 units — will cost you $1,599.95 when it comes out in April at either Pentax's online store or Ace Photo. That's a $400 premium over the plain old black version of the camera, but the kit does come with a super-slim 40mm f/2.8 pancake lens (just like the brand new K-01) that'll sport that same silver color as the body. This isn't the first time Pentax has offered a silver version of this camera, but last time it cost $100 more and it didn't include the lens.
