Instagram may be coming up with a new feature that lets college students list their school and find their classmates on the platform. Jane Manchun Wong looked through Instagram’s Android app code and saw the feature under development.

The still-unreleased feature lets you link to your school in your Instagram bio so that other students can find you. When you add a school, Instagram will also prompt you to list your graduation year and your major.

You could already easily find classmates through LinkedIn or Facebook, which often recommend people from a school you’ve listed. But Instagram hasn’t had a function like this before, and it feels a lot like the app is returning to Facebook’s early beginnings as a social media platform that connected college students.

Inside the code that Wong screenshotted, there also appear to be lines that indicate you can report someone for saying they’re a student at a certain school when they aren’t. You can also remove a school you’ve tagged from your bio, or report instances of bullying or harassment.
