Acer Aspire S5

Verge Review

When Acer introduced the Aspire S5 ultrabook at CES in January, it did so to considerable fanfare. The company said it was the thinnest ultrabook yet, and that it didn't cut corners to get there: the S5 has a Thunderbolt port (good luck finding one on another ultrabook), a huge 256GB SSD, and a bizarre ports panel called MagicFlip. Thin, light, fast, and Thunderbolt sounded like a gang not to be trifled with. More details rolled out over the last few months, leading up to the S5’s release....

Bought an Acer Aspire S5 and the battery only lasts for 1 hour and 50 mins from day 1.

Customer service is unresponsive despite various emails. I thought that their customer service should improve since 2011 when I also face another problem with my previous purchase.

HP & Apple really does a fantastic job in customer service. They say and they do it.

Please reconsider if you intend to buy. Feedback from Singapore.
