Initially unveiled to the public as NGP, or Next Generation Portable, the PlayStation Vita was made official at E3 2011. This Sony handheld features a multitouch 5-inch OLED display along with a touchpad on the rear of the device, and utilizes proprietary cartridge media. The 3G-enabled model operates on the AT&T network in the US, includes GPS functionality and an always-on multiplayer connection.
