Apple renamed its flagship iPad to emphasize just how much tinier the device got in its second major design update. The iPad Air looks exactly like its smaller sibling, the iPad mini, trimming off the thick side bezels that the larger iPad has had since its inception. Its lighter and faster, but otherwise the same iPad you've known — just a lot more portable.
