Rhyme (CDMA) | HTC
HTC has confirmed on Facebook that all of the previously-announced devices on its Android 4.0 roadmap will be getting updated by the end of August. Owners of devices like the Rhyme and Desire S had originally been told updates were coming in June or July.
Verizon has just posted a list to its website to help let people know which devices are destined to get Android 4.0. The list includes the HTC ThunderBolt, Incredible 2, Rhyme, and Rezound, as well as the Motorola Droid Xoom, RAZR, RAZR Maxx, Droid 4, Bionic, Xyboard 8.1 and 10.1. The LG Spectrum and both the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 and 10.1 appear on the list, too.
HTC has announced that four more phones — the Droid Incredible 2, Rhyme, Thunderbolt, and Raider — will be getting upgrades to Android 4.0.
Whether it's a phone targeted just to women or not, the HTC Rhyme seems to be just another Android device — it packs a 3.7-inch WVGA Super LCD display, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 (MSM8655) CPU, 768MB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear camera, and a VGA front-facing shooter.
