Sigma SD1 Merrill

Sigma's top of the line SD1 DSLR was designed to compete with medium-format offerings from other manufacturers but with a lower price and an APS-C sized sensor. The SD1's sensor is a Foveon X3 (a three layer sensor with 15.4-megapixels per layer). The camera has a weather-sealed magnesium alloy body, but lacks video capture and live view.
