X10 | Fujifilm
Fujifilm has acknowledge problems with the CMOS sensor in two of it's current cameras, the X10 and X-S1. The company has promised a firmware and hardware fix in the future.
Fujifilm X-Series expands to include the X-S1 with 26x optical super zoom lens, 12 megapixel sensor, and Japanese retail date of December 7th for $1,000 .
The Fujifilm X10 has a larger (2/3-inch) sensor and body than the usual point-and-shoot and adds plenty of control dials for instant-access tweaking. Its target market is closer to the hobbyist than the pro, as evidenced by its introduction of a 4x zoom lens (the X100 has a fixed focal length of 35mm), bearing the Fujinon branding and an innovative zoom ring.
