Here's the first trailer for Sesame Street on HBO

'Brought to you by the letters H, B, O!'

Sesame Street is moving to HBO, and now the first trailer of the show's 46th season is here. The show will make its debut on the premium cable service on January 16th, 2016 with back-to-back 30 minute episodes.

Sesame Workshop struck a deal back in August that allows HBO to host the next five seasons. The workshop will ramp up production to now make 35 episodes a year, all of which will make it to PBS nine months after they air on HBO. The deal also includes two new spinoff series, as well as more than 150 old episodes of Sesame Street.

The new season debuts January 16th

Much has been made about whether or not the show will change under the stewardship of HBO, but this first glimpse seems to maintain that same look and feel that kids (and parents) are familiar with. Long time characters like Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch, and the Count all make an appearance. A few big celebrities (Tina Fey, Jon Hamm, Tracee Ellis Ross) show up as well, and — of course — there's a Star Wars joke.
