Modest Mouse singer causes multi-Subaru car wreck in Portland

Yesterday morning Isaac Brock, the lead singer of ‘00s indie rock band Modest Mouse, crashed his SUV into a City of Portland pickup truck. The truck then crashed into a Subaru, which crashed into another Subaru, which may have crashed into an unidentified fifth vehicle that left before officials arrived. According to The Associated Press, Brock claimed to have fallen asleep at the wheel.

That nobody was seriously injured — let alone killed — is fortunate, because now the internet can carve this beast for its various meaty cuts without the suffocating weight of shame. Here’s a non-definitive list of what is funny about a very serious accident that could have ended tragically.
