Yes, the numbers need clarification, specially when, as he clarified, the home US market pays 10x or more than other major international markets. So it is indeed something to care about.
Also relevant is that HBO max is absent from such important markets as UK, Germany, Italy, France and others, which is an opportunity for growth when their local exclusivity agreements expire

Yearly Prime is available at France at the moment at the current €49 price. Is it know how long will it be available for new signups?

There are 12 application icons (yes l, they could do without solitaire but they could only include the Office suite apps). I don’t think it is unreasonable for someone to use that many applications regularly

Right now I have 19 icons in my taskbar (open + pinned + 3 system icons). In a 1080p display, they do not even span half the width of the screen. And that is with regular, not small, icons size.
I could open a whopping 20 apps more before I would need either rescaling or overflow.
This is a non issue for the vast majority of people.

Wouldn’t it be better to resize icons automatically so that they fit? I think macOS does that

Doesn’t the bending absorb impact energy? And there is less energy to begin with if the phone is lighter

Display as in screen or as in "steel will display less scratches"?
I would say, steel being heavier, drops will result in more impact velocity thus making the screen more susceptible to damage
