People throw out masking but unless you’re properly wearing an N95, which means fitted and not touching it to readjust all the time, masks don’t do a whole lot. Yes a surgical mask vs a cotton mask is better but it’s not blocking anything, just hampering it’s ability. It’ll still get through. I know that’s what you’re getting at so this is just a long-winded way of me saying "I agree" lol

iMessage is encrypted. If you send outside of iPhones, that’s regular ole SMS that’s not encrypted. No one is claiming iMessage works outside of Apple, but iMessage is encrypted

I don’t get the big deal? CDC said you only need to quarantine for 5 days so they’ll pay for 5 days. I wouldn’t ever work at Amazon and based on viral load, I don’t necessarily think 5 days is long enough of a quarantine period but why would Amazon pay longer than they need to? People in these comments seem really upset about this but it’s Amazon we’re talking about. Maybe I’m just cynical, but this doesn’t surprise me in the slightest, why does it surprise anyone?

I will never understand these massive routers that are expensive and claim to have amazing wifi performance. With that money, I’d rather just run cat6 or cat7 cable and have a wired connection. That may be too old school these days though, I don’t know.

As someone who lives in Missouri, the Highway Patrol is the state police in Missouri. Some US states call it the State Police meaning it has jurisdiction over the state. Others call it Highway Patrol, Texas has the Rangers. It’s all essentially the same thing in that they’re police forces that have jurisdiction across the state, not just counties or cities like local police departments.

Makes me so proud to be a Missourian. Smfh

We all know (the majority of) millennials don’t have the money needed or are willing to put in the effort required to run for state and federal level offices. I don’t see that happening for a few election cycles still.

So it’s just 2 monitors on top of each other, without the bezel in between? Cool, I guess? I mean I can see the use for some but I have 3 monitors in very specific locations so this would not fit my personal workflow.
