The problem of relegating tipping to a third party is it just creates more friction, which may result in fewer tips. Not everyone carries cash or wants to exchange info for tipping through a separate app. What should happen particularly for large orders is tipping should be turned into a non-refundable incentive pay.

It’s not exactly surprising. Vox Media has been down this road themselves. Executives don’t like unions. I’d be more shocked if they came out in favor.

So Twitter decided before the ink was dry to do a massive bot removal campaign? Bot operators also decided that this was the perfect moment for a substantial increase in account creation?
In addition, Twitter decided vague messaging of account creation/deactivation would be a good response for a shift in users, rather than saying something like bot removal?

I’m not quite sure what to expect, but hopefully they’re good; after all, director James Cameron once said the sequels will make you "shit yourself with your mouth wide open."
After 13 years I hope so.

If Twitter becomes another shithole like Gab or Parler, it’s an excellent opening for a competitor that believes in moderation.
Hell even Facebook might get a boost from this turn of events.

So clearly, there were some issues and deaths, but Amazon walks away with a warning?
It never ceases to amaze me how we’re all about second chances for large corporations with a history of treating their workers like shit, but everyone else gets the book thrown at them.
Weak.
