To be fair im more surprised Snapchat is still a up and running. Everything they try and do seems to fail, im surprised they haven’t ditched their spotlight.
I know it was on a downward trend with millenilas but it seems to have pickup a lot with Gen Z.
They need to figure a better revenue model though.
I dont get why they are focusing to much on hardware products when they are more of a software company.

Im currently using a laptop with an 8750h and while its not old its getting slow. Even after repasting and everything it runs pretty hot too.
So this might be the year i upgrade.

Thats the issue though only a power user is going to be savy enough to replace parts as integral as a cpu.
With fairphone its hard to say really because we don’t know how much money they are making or losing.

While true that market is extremely small and not large enough to make up for the amount of sales they would have to make to stay afloat.
Also its important to not that these don’t come with gpu’s so no matter what upgrading you do you will be stuck with whatever integrated gpu your processor comes with.
That will limi even more users that would potentially buy these laptops.

Man seeing some of these range numbers by everyone, i can’t help but feel for Japanese brands. Even Toyota seems to be struggling to meet 300 miles. Their Bz4x fell nearly 100 miles below their range estimates.
My guess is there will be some big mergers in the Japanese auto industry. They seem to have fallen to far behind to be competitive and have almost no roadmaps.

I personally dont mind using the chromium based edge and use it as my default at work and on my personal computer. I have been using it even before windows 11.
I dont like bing though, i know people say its gotten a lot better but it just looks out dated and the results aren’t there.
Firefox has also turned to a dumpsterfire that somehow manages to use more resources then chrome.

I would say pretty low since most of these products aren’t completely new and Google already has some of these products.
The most likely would for me would be the glasses since we have already seen numerous times that people aren’t really into them.

I think both have pros and cons.
The thing with EV’s is a lot of places that have free charging will eventually start starting once EV’s get mass adoption. A lot of it is just companies trying to incentives people to adopt EV’s.
I don’t think the world is really ready for EV’s, especially when it comes to infrastructure.
There really should have been a greater push towards alternative fuels rather then strictly EV.
Example with hydrogen, you have less stress on the infrastracture, much shorter fueling times and longer range.
Im sure EV’s will reach that point also but it will take longer, there is also the issue of the batteries. What are we gonna do with them once they start to degrade. I dont think they can jsut be left to rot in your garage like people due with ICE cars. That would be terrible if the batteries start leaking.

Hmm on the one hand i agree but on the other i can’t help but feel this is only a response to the EU’s lack of big or emerging tech companies.
The EU has grown extremely slow in the past decade, sub 2% per year, compared to the rest of the world. Yes it can be said the the US has not grown a lot either but its stayed at or above the 3% mark per year.
It seems like Europe’s extremely tight regulations aren’t friendly towards emerging technologies and business. When you look at Europe none of the top 10, maybe even top 15-20, business are business that were created in the past 30 years. All are old banks, oil or automotive companies. Which i believe is a big reason for their slow growth.
If Europe wants to maintain their competitive advantage in the global market, they can’t be so strict on their policy. Especially when it comes to new tech focused businesses.

When i got my mesh i really wanted to pickup an American brand but man were they all terrible. Asus also didn’t have good mesh at the time. I ended up going with TP Link, im not the biggest fan that they are based in China but man are they 10x better then anything Netgear has. Googles nest also seems to be pretty limited.

As much as people will hate this, there is no denying that there scams in the crypto market are everywhere.
I don’t know if this will be limited towards platforms and people releasing coins but they should also investigate people using their influence to promote a coin/NFT only for them to sell it because enough people bought it.

I wish samsung could do something similar for the S22 but from my understanding it is because samsung used a horizontal motor rather then the traditional vertical motor.

288 Miles seems low for that price and especially considering that is their numbers so im sure real world nubmers will be around ~250 miles.
Japanese automakers really seem to be struggling with EV’s, i mean Honda doesnt seem to have a proper EV until 2024, Mazda’s mx-30 is terrible with limited plans for the future, Toyota doesn’t seem like they will have more then the Bz4x until 2025, and Subaru i fully expect to be absorbed by Toyota at this point.
Sure Toyota revealed a bunch of concept ev’s but thats it, they have not proven themselves in the EV market yet.

They do this by charging an arm and a leg for their other laptops that have had the same design for the past few years.
