Perhaps that was a bit over the top and I apologize for that, but being called a shill gets tiresome.
I’m just a dude who knows and enjoys high end tv’s. Ironically, I haven’t owned a Sony for several years lol

So you’re just an intellectually lazy troll. I appreciate the clarification.
Never mind about not starting in with that crap. By all means, you are certainly welcome to act like a childish jackass if that kind of behavior is what gets you through your day.

Unfortunately it’s about the same.

Don’t start with that crap. I’m no more of a Sony rep than you are.

There are 5 tv’s in this house. None of them get upgraded in less than a year. Conversely, none of them make it longer than 2 years.
I am admittedly an outlier.

Bigger panel or better image. Different strokes for different folks.

You will be very pleased with the brightness and reflection handling of these even in a brighter room.

I’m not wrong at all. TV nerds care about things like accuracy and motion. Mass consumers by and large are driven by 2 things: price and a bright picture. This isn’t gonna change anytime soon.

I agree with this so long as you don’t go looking at the QD OLEDs in person. This is very much a case of ignorance being bliss.

Around 1000 nits for the QD-OLED, though very small highlights are likely to get somewhat brighter than that for a very short duration.
The WOLED panels are likely to be on par with last years models.

Die hard Sony fans will of course get the Sony. Everyone else will go with the Samsung. The vast majority of consumers don’t care a bit about color accuracy as long as it has a pretty picture and a lower price point.

Fair enough, but you’re going to be waiting a long time.

What a bunch of nonsense. I feel bad that Bandcamp is caught up in the middle of this, but I’m not gonna lie I’m looking forward to seeing Epic get kicked in the teeth…again.
