It’s nice to see that while the price is high, the exchange rate for us Europeans are much better than Apple’s. The $1799 sticker on the Fold is, in local currency, lower than the 1TB $1599 iPhone Max.

Depending on how you define mainstream. The total market seems to be north of 1.2B phones worldwide (https://www.counterpointresearch.com/global-smartphone-share/). So 10M is less than 1% in terms of units. I’d call that a niche.
For comparison, it’s about the number of Mini’s Apple sells.

They do a lot of thing in (and surrounding) that app though…
But how they, in a quarter, can make a 400M loss on a 1100M top line is odd, considering what they do. Especially with only 6k employees.

Skimming it, it seems to be the same thing that has already been reported. Twitter claims a high number of "monetizable daily active users", and that it is an important number.
Elon things the number they’ve given him 238M is 65M too high and that the value is not an important number.

Not the same document though. That was Twitter. This is Elon.

They should invest heavily in passive cooling. It’s not like Spainish summers are getting cooler anytime soon.

No need to replace all of it (short term). Energy use is much higher during the day (peak demand is frequently 50x, compared to the night time), which is when solar works well.

They should turn them into LED buttons and rent the space out instead. More revenue, and dead services can be replaced.
With an option for the customer to unlock them, of course.

Uber did not want tipping. Added to bring drivers in at a time when they were leaving in droves.
This new change indicates they have an issue on the supply side.

Looks like it’s getting ok reviews across the board. I’ll get one just to support Asus for making a small phone!

Convenient? Yes. Completely safe? Doubtful.
I drove a Model 3 for a year and a half and stopped using AP due to a near miss. For an unknown reason the car suddenly decelerated hard on the highway. The car behind me had to swerve not to hit me. Was he too close? Sure, but "me" suddenly breaking for no reason still put us in danger. Didn’t trust the AP after that.
AP might still be overall safer than the average, as that includes all kinds of drivers doing all kinds of dumb things. But I don’t think it’ll beat an alert, rested driver.

Apple should sell an Home Button attachment to their phones. I’d buy one for my Mini.

The AR part is neat, but this should be a feature in every Zillow listing. Click on an image to remove the furniture and see it empty. Even better if I can automatically add my preferred style of furniture.

I think it would make sense to use have one column, namned something like "Noteworthy", and let the reader decide if it’s good, bad or not really that interesting for them.
In my case, not having a charger included is a good thing. I don’t want another one. Others might feel differently (apparently). I’m also an early adopter and don’t much care about the risk for this turning into a brick in a year or two. Average user’s do. And so on.

YouTube Premium is worth every dime. Jump in. If you spend just a few hours a month on the service you won’t regret it.
