This is a bizarre take. Why would you assume that Qualcomm of all companies is the only one who can execute adequately? They have no track record of excellence in this sphere.

It sounds interesting until you get to the part where it has no IBIS.
I’m not sure who this is for. If you are planning to keep a camera in a gimbal all the time, one is better off purchasing a real video camera. A high-end hybrid video/stills camera, which this appears to be, is crippled in 2022 if it has no in-body stabilization. A real missed opportunity.

I would like this to be great but I worry it will not be. First of all, I think companies perpetually overestimate the appeal of prequels. Yes, most shows end in a predictable place but there is something magical about the possibility that one may be surprised by the outcome. Here, we already know what that outcome will be.
Second, well…..Wheel of Time. Given how much money that show cost and what it looked like… well, I just don’t know about Amazon productions.
