I’d be surprised if Apple doesn’t already have or isn’t working on RCS internally. Their stance is clearly that they won’t do it unless they’re forced to but the EU could very well do that and they would likely want to be ready.

They wouldn’t knowingly lie to shareholders but this also wouldn’t be Intel’s first time using "launch" in a rather generous way. Shipping to consumers in 2023 only means that somewhere in the world, a retailer will have a computer with one of those chips inside, in December.

What’s even worse is that this "10$ value" probably costs them 1-3$. Maybe even 0$ if people redeeming the offer buy something else at the same time.
