Where did you get that the mailbox was agreed upon by both parties? Even Amazon didn’t contest that it was added without authorization from the NLRB Regional Director. Stop lying when it says it right there in the document on page 4. Not only that, but they put up anti-union propaganda banners around the mailbox that didn’t even have USPS markings.
I don’t know how you can blame RWDSU for being half-hearted when they followed the following the procedure they’re supposed to. You can’t just file a new petition for a unionizing election after one just failed. This appeal is the most direct way to call a new vote, and Amazon hasn’t even announced an intent to request full review by the NLRB national board. Looking at the full document in the article, the legal cases cited show it will be hard for them to prevail. Even if you have some bizarre gripe with RWDSU, the article clearly points out the Teamsters are throwing their efforts behind it as well.

Yes, surely a union vote in which 30% of eligible workers voted not to unionize (43% turnout) is decisive. I’m sure not a single worker was afraid of retaliation from the multi-billion dollar conglomerate. /s
