Definitely some profiteering going on in every industry. You can’t tell me gas prices are high and Exxon Mobil having another record quarter are unrelated.

Just create the College Football League already so the continual conference shuffling can cease. Have divisions and relegation just like the EPL.

The one place the SD tier makes sense is on mobile.

Why do I see the same ads all the time if it’s supposed to be a tailored experience?

It sucks but if you took a poll of just Biden voters I guarantee the majority would take cheaper gas over human rights sanctions. Most Americans can’t even find Saudi Arabia on a map.

Too many unskippable ads so a DVR is still essential. I have YTTV for sports and rotate one or two other streamers because there are not many good shows left on cable.

Cable is done. The only thing left on cable you can’t get on streaming is sports and news channels. Whereas there’s a ton of content on streaming you’ll never see on cable. All the top shows are becoming streaming exclusives.

Sports are expensive and RSNs are kind of their own thing. I doubt the $20+ DTC offerings will be popular enough to offset all the cord-cutting losses but whatever comes next may be even worse (games scattered across a half-dozen services perhaps). Anyway, you could switch to DTVStream’s RSN tier, but it will probably be about the same $.

Yeah I mean P+ has deals all the time anyway. Hope that doesn’t change as this is just a way to boost subscribers and ad revenue. Not really comparable to Prime Video.
