This is a great idea, though it seems like it will be difficult to implement outside of Google Workspace. Several of my apps are used for both work and personal use (Outlook, Slack, etc) which those will need to specifically support the feature.
Honestly, the one thing I want is for pictures I take for work purposes to not co-mingle with my personal photos. Its always obnoxious to see those pics popping up on my Nest Hub. The locked folder wasn’t a good solution for this since it doesn’t get backed up to the cloud.

Wait, you mean this wasn’t an April Fool’s gag after all?

This is exactly what holds me back from upgrading from my Pixel 3a to the Duo 2 when it launches. I like everything about the Duo, except that it relies on Microsoft to support it and push out updates for it. I’ve been burned a couple times, professionally and personally, by Microsoft on the mobile front. Between that and having spent the past few years getting regular stock Android updates with no extra bloat and I just can’t see a good reason to take the risk.
Frankly, I’m surprised they’re willing to give it a second shot with a new model.
